It's all about the acting. After starting her career with some small tv shows and smaller movies, Caroline barely missed the big time with Wonderfalls. She has worked her way up and has reached that point in her career where she can be the lead in a regional film and/or a significant part of a "big-name" production. Now all she needs is that break-though movie that makes her a household name...in the US, that is. Canadians already know how good she is!

Cry of the Owl (capped above) has been released on DVD in several places (Brazil since March 12)...anybody seen it yet and can report on it? We've received our first emails encouraging us to download illegally, but I think we'll hold off. De pere en flic is still filming in Montreal.

How popular is she? STARmeter: She is quite popular, consistantly one of the most popular Canadian actresses over the past few years, sitting in the 2,000 to 4,000 range and peaking as high as 130 at one point. We, and a lot of other people for that matter, love Ms. Dhavernas quite a bit.
